France will reopen its borders for International students from Jul
If you are planning to study or do your internship in France during the next academic year, rest assured, because the French government has recently announced that international students are allowed to enter the country from July 1, according to the health situation of different countries, and that their visa and residence permit requests will be given priority./p>
“Given the challenges of university attractiveness, international students will be allowed, whatever their country of origin, to come to France and their welcome will be facilitated,” (Announcement on June 12 2020 - Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign affairs, and Christophe Castaner, Minister of the Interior.
Travel within the Schengen area has been authorized from June 15*, without the need for a travel certificate, and without the mandatory quarantine upon arrival in France. The Erasmus+ Program is evolving in parallel to address the issues linked to COVID-19. Given the different lockdown and border opening measures in the European Union countries, it will be possible to attend classes in e-learning at first, and if you are unable to travel to the host country, it will be possible to delay your arrival in France. https://info.erasmusplus.fr/
You can also check https://reopen.europa.eu/fr for more details on the arrival conditions in France (and other European countries)...
The courses catalog will be available online at the beginning of the new school year. So if you can't travel to France due to the health crisis, you will still have the opportunity to start taking your courses online.
During this particular time, we welcome all initiatives that will allow international students to continue to come or return to France.
See you soon in France!
